An In-Depth and Honest Review of Sit Stay Fetch by Daniel Stevens

When it comes to Dog Behavior Training, SitStayFetch written by Daniel Stevens is right up there with the best of them in my opinion. This dog behavior-training manual presents a highly detailed and meticulous outlook on how best to deal with today's common problems in over anxious dogs. Trust me I know, you see - I am the proud owner of what used to be a very troublesome dog. I have searched everywhere for an inexpensive way to help me solve my problem. My search took me all over the internet where I finally found an online book that finally remedied my situation.

Jumping into it at first, I was a little skeptical, but they offered a *FREE* 6-day email mini course that I could try before I had to spend a dime. After receiving the first day of lessons, I was instantly sold. I also love the fact that it was written by a veteran dog trainer. This made me feel like the tips and information given to me was legit. Everything in this book comes from the author's own personal experiences as a professional dog trainer.

Inside of this book, you will find an extraordinary array of information. This book will cover everything including behavioral problems, advice for new dog owners, how to select the right dog or puppy, information on breeds, the best places to get them, how to deal with the first visit to the vet, how to make your house dog and puppy proof, and house training.

The book also goes into the complex stuff such as dealing with aggression, dominance, chewing, digging, excessive barking, separation anxiety, intermediary level conformity commands, health problems related to your dog, allergies, dog cat coexistence, fleas, heatstroke, and sophisticated tips and tricks.

In addition, one of the best parts of this book is an impressive section on dog whispering. If you have never heard of dog whispering - it is a form of dog training that is based on reciprocal respect and communication with your dog. However, if you are familiar with dog whispering, then you know who has made this form of training popular. If you guessed Cesar Millan who is also known as ("The Dog Whisperer"), then you are right. This ever-increasing popular form of dog training is quickly becoming the standard in how dogs are trained.

An entire section of this book has been dedicated to dog whispering, where the author Daniel Stevens explains in full detail the conditions of this technique. He also explains how to use the technique to tranquilly, energetically, and efficiently correct and coach your dog. Daniel also goes through systematic instructions on how to use the common commands sit, quiet, come, down, stay, and much more.

The book was very interesting to read. I could not put it down. After reading, I immediately took my spoiled over anxious dog into the yard and put into practice what I had learned. I could not believe how quickly he took to the training. This book is *HIGHLY* recommended by me!

I have to confess, as I mentioned earlier; what sold me to this product was the fact that there was a free 6-day mini course. How would you feel if I was to tell you that there is also a lot more freebies that come with this work of art? Yep, I love bargains and free stuff. In fact, I go out of my way to get things free. However, SitStayFetch did not let me down.

For a detailed manual on how to train your dog, the $37 dollar asking price is a steal. Not to mention the excellent tips, tricks and advice you get about dealing with behavioral problems, and a litany of other things.

Ok, back to the bonuses (free stuff). Upon purchasing you will receive four bonus downloadable books dealing with crate and paper training methods, an in-depth look at how to stop dog aggression, effective grooming, dealing with the coats of specific breeds, dental care, nail clipping, and my personal favorite - how to train your dog for security purposes.

Nevertheless, the king of all freebies would have to be the personalized consultation with an associate of the Kingdom of Pets team. If for some reason you get into a jam, you can drop them an email and someone will be right back in contact with you. They are quick to reply and their professionalism had me asking myself "I get all this for $37?"

I have owned dogs since I could remember, and after reading the book, I realized that I did not know nearly as much as I thought. Therefore, to put it loosely, I am *IMPRESSED* with this package. I am also impressed with the support and professionalism of the team.

This book has thought me more about dogs than my lifetime being around them. I did not know I could stop my dog from tugging on his chain without using a check-chain. Now I know how, and it is all because of SitStayFetch.

This book brings a common sense, and easy to understand approach to dog training. However, other techniques in the book require a little more patience and effort. Nonetheless, they surrender some very spectacular results. A perfect example of this is the (dog whispering) technique. There are more than one-detailed techniques. This allows you the reader to choose the techniques that better fit you and your dog.

I have no problems recommending this package to any dog owner who would like to communicate better with their loving dogs. My dog is a big part of my life; hence, this book has changed my life. However, this book is not only for people with problem pets, it is also for people who would like to understand their dog like never before. There is information in this book that will benefit all dog owners.

Memorial Plaques

Plaques are not only used as tokens of appreciation, but are also used as memorial signage to identify where the deceased are buried. Memorial plaques are being used as an inexpensive alternative to tomb stones.

Tombstones are more commonly used than memorial plaques to mark the burial ground. They are carved stones, usually granite or marble, placed over the burial site. Some tombstones are even carved into crosses, angels, customized emblems, or family seals, but most simply bear engravings of quotations from the Bible or epitaphs commemorating the departed. The tombstone also bears the name of the person buried there and the person's date of birth and death.

Memorial plaques are also gaining popularity because they are a much cheaper substitute for the tombstone. Memorial plaques are usually mounted on wooden bases that are usually made from 2-ply exterior grade flexible acrylic, or firmly built-in into the wall-mounted wooden frame. There are wooden boards made of oak, mahogany or teak. You might find some companies who can give you specific timbers according to your request.

Memorial plaques are a low-cost yet long-lasting form of remembrance to a loved one. Many people prefer bronze-colored, powder-coated aluminum memorial plaques. The wood is weatherproof and some even come with ultraviolet ray protection or coating. Memorial plaques can carry the same information that tombstones do. The words are either engraved on the first layer of the plaque's lamination to show the color underneath, or the engraved lettering is filled white.

Memorial plaques are usually between 10mm to 15mm in thickness, but there are also plaques that are 20 to 30mm thick. The plaque can be sized in the dimensions you need - sometimes up to 600mm by 2000mm. Prices start from $30 to about $120, depending on the size and level of detailing.

All About Psychic Abilities

What do you think when you hear the term "psychic"? Many people think of creepy characters that can read the future and that are generally in horror/thriller movies. That is not true. Psychics are every day people just like you and your family; they are just given certain gifts that they use to aid people like you. There are hundreds of abilities that have been attributed to psychics starting with Biofield energy healing and ending with Telepathy. Although there are an abundance of abilities, there are three with the utmost amount of popularity in the general psychic powers list and they are: precognition, medium ship, and psychometry.

Precognition

This part of parapsychology is commonly known as future sight. Precognition is a type of outside perception that allows the psychic to access information about a future event. Generally this would mean that the information could not be accessed by other natural means that could be carried out by a non-psychic person. Premonitions come along with precognition and they are visions or thoughts about future events that are brought to the psychic via emotional means.

Medium ship

Generally regular psychics aren't known for their medium ship but rather "Mediums" are. Mediums are another sub-genre of psychics that only work with those who are dead. Medium ship is defined as a form of communication with spirits and it is practiced within the following religions: Spiritualism, Spiritism, Espiritismo, Candomble, Louisiana Voodoo, and Umbanda. Mediums claim to be able to contact the spirits of the dead, angels, demons, or other existential beings. Their role is to communicate with the spirits and then re-communicate the information to loved ones or friends. Medium ship can be seen in various horror/thriller movies, especially modernized ones.

Psychometry

This particular trait that is attributed to psychics is quite possibly one of the most popular and well known traits. Psychometry is the ability to touch a particular object and determine its history and its purpose. For example, if a psychic finds a coin they will be able to hold that coin and tell you who it was last held by and why it is where it is. Those who practice psychometry say that the objects have an energy field that allows certain people to understand such information. The use of psychometry is most commonly found within a fair or a circus because psychics tend to use it as a type of psychic readings. A lot of the time they will ask for an object from an audience member and they will determine who really owns the item and whether they are still alive or dead. The foundation of this psychic trait is still debated to this day. People are unaware as to whether the psychics are just abnormally good at reading people, if they can access the powers of their subconscious mind, if they're using creative visualization, or whether psychometry really exists.

There are thousands of traits that are automatically attributed to psychics but little do people know that there are actually specialists that deal with the sub genres of psychic abilities. Even though there are a lot of characteristics associated with psychics, there are still aspects of the profession that are most commonly sought out by people all over the world. Psychometry (the reading of objects) is commonly used as a parlor trick, Medium ship (the ability to speak with the dead) can be seen in movies, and Precognition (the ability to predict the future) can all be seen all over the world for various different reasons. If you are looking for a way to get in contact with a dead loved one or to even know where you are going to be in 10 years, seek out a psychic, they can help you more than you know.

Many anxiety disorders afflict women, usually starting around puberty. Generalized anxiety disorder is one of the few that also affects children. Children who suffer from generalized anxiety disorder constantly worry about everything, from their family, their health, school issues, and world events, just to name a few. They worry to the extent that it takes up such a part of their lives as to interfere with their ability to function and do the things that most normal children do. If this sounds like your child, have him checked out by his physician. There are other health problems that can present the same way, and your physician will need to find out for sure what the problem is to prescribe the proper treatment. Worry that lasts longer than six months is a pretty good starting indicator of generalized anxiety disorder.

Children who have generalized anxiety disorder are afflicted with several other symptoms including, restlessness or inability to concentrate, inability to sleep well, often suffer from extreme fatigue, and often tend to be very irritable.

Parents play a big role in helping children learn how to manage their generalized anxiety disorder so that it does not interfere in their day to day lives. These children respond well to positive parenting methods, and constantly seek reassurance that everything is going to be okay. Parents should try to help their children by discussing their fears and concerns, and showing them ways in which they are unfounded.

If generalized anxiety disorder is not treated correctly before adolescence, it can lead to a whole new set of problems. Children may suffer from self-esteem and confidence issues, They may never graduate high school, not be able to join the work force, and may turn to alcohol or drugs to make them feel better.

Children with generalized anxiety disorder usually respond well to treatments, such as cognitive behavioral treatment. Cognitive behavior therapy teaches children to change their way of thinking, and modify their behaviors to help lessen their fears and worries. It helps them learn to turn negative thoughts and behaviors into positive ones. They learn how to use relaxation exercises to help control their anxiety levels, so that they can more effectively manage their disorder. Children need to learn to use these relaxation methods not only in therapy, but in stressful situations anytime and anyplace they happen to occur.

When choosing a therapist to help your child with his generalized anxiety disorder, you should look for one that is easy to communicate with, and one who has no problem answering any questions that you may have. He should be able to tell you anything you want to know about his education and training, his treatment procedures, and how much should expect to pay for it all.

You may want to conduct interviews with several therapists that specialize in treating children that have generalized anxiety disorder before making your final selection. During your interview feel free to ask questions to help you make the best choice for your child. It is a good idea to ask potential therapists how long they have treated children with generalized anxiety disorder, and what training did they have that makes them qualified to do so. Ask what happens during an average treatment session, and find out how long each session is expected to last. Are parents allowed to sit on the sessions? How many treatments does it usually take to be able to see some improvement? You also should find out if the therapist is covered by your insurance, and if not, whether he is willing to work out a payment plan with you, to make your child's treatment be more affordable for the family budget. Let your child also meet with potential therapists, to see if he or she prefers one over the others.

After interviewing several therapists, you may also want to do some research on each potential therapist to see if you can find any complaints, or other information that make help you in the selection process. Choosing a therapist for your child is not something to take lightly, and you should take your time and try to choose the best one you can afford.

While prescription medications do seem to help those diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, they are all not indicated for use by children. Best results are usually achieved by combing medicines with behavioral treatment. Use the medicines until the behavioral treatment helps, then gradually come off of the meds. Being on prescription anxiety medications for long periods of time is not recommended for anyone, especially children. Your physician may be able to find a safe prescription medicine, but keep in mind that some prescriptions normally used in treating adults can actually cause children to have self destructive thoughts and behaviors. Children who take medicines to help control their generalized anxiety disorder must be closely monitored by both their physician, and their parents, and any new symptoms or personality changes should be reported to the physician right away.

People who have generalized anxiety disorder may develop other psychiatric diseases later in life, such as chronic depression, or panic disorders. Treatment and education at the onset of generalized anxiety disorder can greatly decrease the odds.

Improve Reading Comprehension - How Much of What You Read, Do You Remember For a Long Time?

Our Challenge:

In the workplace, there is a Constant Demand to read and absorb enormous amounts of data and technical Information.

Students have large amounts of information they need to read and remember so they can pass exams with a high score. The challenge here is often the retention time is very short, which creates a perceived need to really cram before a test.

This can create loads of stress for everyone concerned and may damage positive attitudes. It also can create some fractured relationships because, there just does not seem to be enough time to get things done and still have adequate time to spend with family and friends.

If, You Are a Normal Average American:

You have a reading speed of approximately 250 Words per minute. So, it is quite easy to see why there never seems to be enough time to get even the most important things read.

It would seem that a reasonable solution to this problem would be to take a course on Speed Reading. The facts show that while, it is true speed reading does allow you to cover a lot more data and, it does increase your retention rate for a little while, like with regular reading you soon forget the lion's share of what you thought you had learned.

I had come to the conclusion that this was just my own problem. But, when I really started researching, it became evident that almost everyone has the same exact challenge.

The average person, has forgotten 50% (or more) by the time they have finished whatever it is they are reading, and 48 hours later, they have forgotten 90% of that. So, what you end up with (if you are average) is approximately only about 5% of what you have been studying.

What is the answer?

I personally have tried a few memory courses, without a great degree of long lasting improvement.

So, you can probably understand my elation when I found out about a mental photography program which, could speed up my reading and, really help my memory with a higher degree of comprehension.

It had been around for several years but up until recently, it has only been taught to the public through seminars. Which as you know, incur a considerable expense with travel, accommodations etc.

According to their many testimonials they do a great job teaching people how to deal with a plethora of obstacles, which seems to affect all of us to some degree. They claim we are all born with this ability, but most of us lose it when we learn to read. So, it is a matter of relearning the skill.

If, you think I sound pretty positive about this, you are right. This is because even my family and friends have commented on the improvement in my memory and retention. For myself, I have noticed an increase in my ability to handle a larger workload in less time.

I hope this information is beneficial to you.
